Elbee Bad: House-Legende verstorben

House-DJ und Producer Elbee Bad, bürgerlich Lamont Booker, verstarb in der Nacht des 30.Mai 2021 in seiner Berliner Wohnung. Ihm zu Ehren und zu Gunsten seiner Hinterbliebenen gab es am kommenden Samstag, den 19. Juni, eine Party im Sekt-Garten desBerliner Clubs ://about blanks. Alle Künstler:innen verzichteten bei dieser Kondolenz-Veranstaltung auf ihre Gage, denn die Einnahmen kommen den drei Kindern des Künstlers zugute. Diesen möchten ihren Vater nämlich nach New York überführen lassen - doch dafür fehlt das nötige Geld. Zusätzlich zu der Party gibt es deshalb noch eine Spendenkampagne, um die Überführung und Bestattung in seine Heimatstadt New York City zu ermöglichen. Die Familie hatte über Facebook um Unterstützung gebeten:

LAMONT aka Elbee Good was an exceptional artist and creator immerging from the times when house music was born innovating it to the day of his departure from this world.
As a Father, Son, Friend, Artist & Mentor he shared his outstanding talent, love for life, passion, knowledge. His smile and presence lit up a room.
Through his art, his eminent kindness and his joy he touched many hearts so deeply and inspired souls around the world.

He who always believed in dedication, truth to self, loyalty and love; in the power of "The People", encouraged so many to push forward, believing in themselves and helped fulfill their potential.

His life was an Art-Odyssey and he was a committed warrior for freedom of thought and expression.

eLBee will be remembered as a persistent Artist, diligent Producer, incredible Dj, a precious and dear very dear friend, loving father and son; as a Legend in so many hearts and minds around the world.

His Spirit will always be in our hearts and his music will never die!
