   Dr.Minister,please look into the possibility of giearetnng power from wind at GADAG and CHITRADURGA.It is estimated that there is a potential to tap about 5000MW of energy here.Many farmers have given away(sold) their fertile lands at 1-2lacs/acre.Already there are windmills set up the region but not utilised upto its potential.The farmers have not been made stakeholders neither farmers nor the region is benifitted since power generated is directly transferred to KPTCL by private players.Wind power is nature friendly and cheap.Power Crisis is worrisome specially during examination time!It is really good that many developmental works are being donebut the present power crisis may have adverse impact on poll prospects.
